Inspired by the colors of the wildflowers in Maine, the channel inlay in this enhancer features natural stones of blue turquoise, sugilite, rhodonite, pink mother of pearl and malachite handcut and framed in sterling silver. A substantial oval rhodonite cabochon has an overlay of oxidized sterling silver that perfectly frames the delicate inlay. A beautiful addition to any collection in colors that are bold yet soft. Enhancer measures approximately 2-1/2" long x 1" wide. Made in America with gemstones from around the world.
From blushing sunsets to the pink glow of granite formations in Acadia National Park, mauve is definitely the color that defines memorable moments. Endless wildflower fields and cottage gardens inspired the look of inlaid gemstones set in a sterling floral pattern, back set with solid rhodonite.
Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack Sterling Silver Jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the natural gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
I bought this piece recently and can't wait to wear it. Although, just admiring it from an artistic viewpoint is a pleasure as well. The flowing lines of the silver frame hold the mauve Rhodonite stone serving as a canvas presenting a bouquet of multi-colored flowers. It's easy to appreciate such a pendant/enhancer on many levels, and yes, it's a winner. I also have the ring and love looking at it too. A casual look works as does a dressier one with it I think.
I bought this because I love the mauve color, but this is just a great piece to add to my collection, much bigger than I thought it would be. Not to large, hangs well and is a statement within its self.
