According to Navajo tradition, the dragonfly is an enchanting creature which comforts souls. Inspired by that tradition, designer Fritz Casuse has created these mixed metal and gemstone hoop earrings. The body and wings of the dragonflies are crafted from highly polished sterling silver and two-toned brass, designed with spirals on the wings to represent the motion of flight. A vibrant round cabochon of green-blue turquoise accents these treasures, representing the life force of water. These dynamic earrings offer a beautiful balance with their mirrored symmetry and will provide an elegant highlight to every outfit. They measure 3/4" long x 1" wide and feature post and clutch. Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
