The extraordinary beauty of the Star Maiden, who came to earth, according to Ojibwa legend, in the form of a delicate water lily to live near the people she always loved, is celebrated in these elegant silver and gemstone earrings. The flower is crafted from a meticulous design of openwork sterling silver, from which dangle flowing strands that end in beads of sparkling peridot. A single pear-shaped peridot bead also adorns the center of the blossom, perhaps representing the distant star from which the Maiden happily descended. These water lily earrings measures 3" long x 1-5/8" wide and feature lever backs. Made in the USA.

Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
