Item #2-3572-085
It's not often that designers with the talent of Veronica Benally, Roderick Tenorio, Cody Sanderson and Fritz Casuse collaborate to create a piece of fine jewelry. The result when they do, however, is a piece with the unique artistic quality of this beautiful cuff bracelet. A wearable work of art, the bracelet combines sterling silver and brass in whimsical butterfly designs with coral, lapis, variscite, rhodolite garnet, iolite, turquoise and amethyst gemstones. The integrity and style of this piece, as well as the artistic collaboration that created it, makes it an exciting addition to any collection. Bracelet measures 1-1/4" wide and fits an average-sized wrist. Made in the USA.
This piece was inspired by the Butterfly Symphony necklace, a unique collaboration of four award-winning Native designers. Click on the Inspiration tab for more details.
Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack Sterling Silver Jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
The 2010 SWAIA auction gala necklace was a collaborative effort by award-winning designers. Roderick Tenorio, Veronica Benally, Fritz Casuse and Cody Sanderson. Each Native Designer added their own elements to the necklace to create a piece that integrated different styles into one outstanding look. Inspired by nature, the necklace features butterflies created by each designer and Native symbols and flowers throughout. The necklace was sold for over $24,000 and generated significant interest by collectors. Each artist involved designed pieces that were inspired by the necklace, including two collaborative efforts by all four.
Another collaboration by Benally, Tenorio, Sanderson and Casuse, this cuff bracelet has the same butterflly features. The creation is comprised of one butterfly designed by each artist and is a must-have for any collector of Native designs.
