Sterling silver, brass and white shell come together in a popular trio in this detailed ring. The white shell cabochon is settled into a surrounding of brass and held in by six decorative prongs. Sterling silver makes up the openwork shank, with details that will adorn sides of your finger. Ring measures 1" long x 3/4" wide. Made in America with gemstones from around the world.
Fragrant and pristine, pale blooms reach brightly toward the sky. The contours of natural white shell suggest the shape of petals, while sculptural accents of cast brass and sterling silver bring to life the complex natural design of the flower.
Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack Sterling Silver Jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the natural gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
I was impressed with the design of this ring. When you glance at the shell from the top it looks like a view from the insides of a seashell, a pearl essence and a glow., beautifully trimmed in brass and a tapered design on the shank. I really like it. An unusual ring.
