The magic of the lighting at sundown is captured in these mixed metal Mirror Lake gemstone earrings. Teardrop-shaped gems of pink rhodonite are held in place by fluted copper and sterling silver. The earrings measure 1-5/8" long x 1/4" wide and feature post and clutch closures. Made in the USA.

As the sun dips behind Adirondack peaks, tourists and villagers alike pause to watch the lovely mural that sunset paints each night over Mirror Lake. A multichannel micro-inlay of blue turquoise, variscite, rhodonite, yellow quartzite and orange, purple and red spiny oyster creates this feast of colors, while overlapping heralds of copper and sterling silver recall the sun’s last rays breaking through clouds.

Like all fine jewelry, Carolyn Pollack jewelry should be handled carefully. Store jewelry in a plastic bag, dry and wrapped in tissue paper, when not being worn or displayed. Clean sterling silver with a silver polishing cloth when necessary, but never subject to chlorine, silver dips, chemical solutions or ultrasonic cleaners, as these substances can cause the gemstones to discolor. Never wear jewelry in a swimming pool.
